Based upon statistics the divorce rates are mainly due to a lack of fidelity and finances. What I call the FF factor. From my own voew point and spiritual stand point I believe that many people are marrying the WRONG PEOPLE! Datign today has become a joke and so has marriage. The biblical stand point and meaning for marriage has been torn apart. People no longer see marriage as a covenant vow between two people who love God and each other. However, it is now seen as a means to gain assistance in one aspect or the other. Wether it is to have life long monogomou sex, to gain financial security, or simply settling to be "un-lonely", marriage in this day and age lacks so many factors.
If you are married it is important to figure out your role in the marriage and how to better maritial members.
If you are single it is important to DATE RIGHT, DISCARD ALL unfit matches, NOT TO SETTLE, discover who you are first and God, and CHOOSE WISELY!
MARRIAGE is the 2nd MOST IMPORTANT DECISION one makes during thier life's journey!
Anyone want to add or argue?

Amen to what you've said. Marriage is a convenantal relationship. It's a covenant of companionship. The purpose of marriage is not simply to put a seal of approval on a sexual relationship. That's only part of it. It means an intimate relationship that is tied to permanency. Today, we've lost respect not only for marriage, but for God's original design for each of us as an individual. We were designed for oneness. One with the Lord, one with our spouse, one with body of Christ (unity). In today's view, there is no respect for God, for marriage, not even for ourselves as God's creation. It's all myopic, only seeing what's right in front me and hedonistic - what gives me pleasure.
